Stupid recuiters

There are some really stupid recruiters out there with ridiculous requirements in their job details. Yesterday I found one on yahoo hotjobs that was hiring a Senior .NET Architect. One of their requirements was: "“5+ years experience with Microsoft Software Engineering Technologies - such as .net, asp.net, C#"”. Here is the link

Now lets do the math. 5+ year of experience in asp.net and C# means that the candidate should be working with these technologies since the year 2000 or 1999 (taking the + in consideration). But Microsoft released .Net framework and Visual Studio .NET in 2002. In other words the candidate should have experience with a technology long before the technology had existed. Microsoft start working on .NET couple of years before the release, in other words to have 5+ experience in .NET means that the candidate should be one of the guys that worked at the framework?

The cherry on top of these requirements is that the candidate should be a Visio pro. What the heck is a Visio pro? Is it a professional that use Visio or a guy that knows how to use Visio to draw pretty flowcharts and diagrams that look professional? "Are you a .net architect and a Visio pro?" does this actually means "Do you like arts and are you gay?"
